PLEASE READ LUKE CHAPTER 1:26-38

WHEN READING THIS PARTICULAR CHAPTER WE MUST REMEMBER
SOME KEY POINTS:

1, Mary was young, poor, and a female this made the choice of her by God really odd
to her peers, it was against the "social norm".
2. Mary was a unique choice because she was not considered to be someone God would
have chosen to her peers.
3. We have to remember if God uses the fool to confound the wise, or a donkey to talk,
he can choose a women or whatever he wants to fulfill HIS purpose. History proves it may
not have been someone whom we would have chosen.

NEVERTHELESS, MARY, EVEN THOUGH ONE MAY HAVE QUESTIONED WHOM
GOD CHOSE, MARY DID NOT. MARY ACCEPTED WHAT GABRIEL HAD TOLD HER
AND SUBMITTED TO GOD'S WILL FOR HER LIFE.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
All odds were against Mary , she faced her husband knowing she wasn't pregnant by him,
she faced her family and friends, and peer anger towards her over her pregnancy, she also faced
the ridicule of her claim she was having a "savior baby" or being "blessed", she even faced
ridicule for being young, poor and a women. In her culture death was even a possibility that
she faced. Then after her toddlers birth she faced the possibility of him being murdered, she
endured it all with FAITH and trust in God's will for her life.

She never doubted or questioned God's will for her EVEN at the site of her bloody son beaten
hanging from the cross dying. In her moment of anguish and grief as a distraught mom who
watched her son die unfairly, she still remained submitted and assured of God's work,
because of that her reward is great. Not only is Mary "Blessed among women" but
her son is the King of Kings, WHAT A HONOR!

OVERALL POINT:
You must be submitted and totally trust in God's will for you regardless of the cost and
trials, we must remember to stand on God's word as Mary and Joseph did, they trusted
in the message and God delivered them both and provided for them!
* Submit is the key word
* Eternal life is our reward

PROFOUND THOUGHT TO CHERISH

Luke who authored this story was a doctor- not just any doctor either,
he was VERY well esteemed and equivalent to a great professor today. ( A scholar)
He was very known and respected, especially becasue of his thorough and
meticulous research on issues- his revelations were based off undeniable facts.
The people could trust him to expose anything that was false in his research, especially
in the medical field.

Luke actually interviewed Mary and he family, friends, and towns people.
He researched Mary's story and sacrificed his reputation and career, his whole
personal life, to vouch medically for Mary. His medical discoveries, etc. all vouched
for the validity of the story he wrote, he even documented and stated after medical
exam of Mary " VIRGIN BIRTH". He deemed it as a fact, he is a doctors who checked
all facts and weighed the evidences to make his conclusions. Why is all that significant?

Because with this birth being spiritual conception and not by flesh as a normal conceived
pregnancy it verifies Jesus was born pure, blameless, and perfect as Adam was, created
perfect by God. That made him perfect and a worthy sacrifice for us, and it is amazing
that Luke put everything in his life on the line to vouch for our Lord and Savior!

ANOTHER KEY POINT:

Elizabeth in her 6th month of pregnancy made an admission, that established the
prophecy that " One would pave the way".
John was to be born 1st, he was the voice crying out in the wilderness, he paved
the way for Jesus. Also, Elizabeth was BARREN when God gave her John in pregnancy.
Once again God used the least likely one becasue of her bareness and her age.
He took that and used he in a mighty way.
He did all this intentionally to show ( vs 37) NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE WITH GOD!
He did these things to leave us with no doubt!

Again I stress Mary, Joseph, Elizabeth, John, even John's father and Christ himself
are examples of submission to God's will for your life. We may not see the greater
purpose now but there is always one in the end.
We must submit even when its "uncomfortable" for us so that God can work and
make a way where there is none!
* SUBMIT TO GOD!
* SUBMIT TO GOD'S WILL!
* SUBMIT TO THE HOLY SPIRIT!
* SUBMIT TO CHRIST IN LOVE!
All these Christians submitted to pave the way for our salvation today,
Will you submit for a Christian tomorrow?
It is never to late to submit, but it is always too late when you rebel against God!
Accept Christ as your Lord and Savior and submit to his word,
His word is eternal life, the key is SUBMISSION...
